Silicon Spray
BottcherPro Silicone Spray generates a thin protective, lubricating film that improves the sliding ability on metal, wood and plastic surfaces. It has many applications in printing. In sheetfed offset printing, it helps reduce the accumulation of ink on impression cylinders and helps optimize the paper run in feeders. In web offset, BottcherPro Silicone Spray reduces ink accumulation on turner bars, chill rolls and folder formers, for example. It also helps optimize paper runs in press folders. Applications in newspaper printing include the reduction of ink accumulation on turnbars and web guide rollers and if sprayed on blankets, it can help avoid web breaks. BottcherPro Silicone Spray can be used in the finishing process to reduce the smearing of printed matters and to lubricate squeaking machine parts.
