Fountain Solution Additive

BottcherFount S-3021 is a fountain solution additive for sheet-fed offset and continuous form printing. Particularly for soft water.

1. Standard dosage 2 - 3 %
2. For IPA-reduction to 6 - 8 %
3. Very stable ink-/water balance
4. Reduced and stable water pick up of the ink, therefore higher ink densities obtained
5. Fast start-up after machine standstill
6. For conventional and continuous dampening units
7. Very suitable for CTP plates
8. Increased plate protection
9. For water hardness 0 - 8° dH (total hardness)
10. pH-value 4.4 – 4.7 with soft water
11. Reduced calcium deposits on ink rollers
12. Minimises build up of paper dust and ink on the blanket
13. Suitable for metal pigment, UV and fluorescence inks
14. Effective prevention of foam
15. Increased conductivity per % input: 775 μS/cm
16. Density 1.14 (kg/l)

Note

Before applying BottcherFount S-3021, the fountain system must be completely emptied and cleaned thoroughly, preferably with BottcherPro Hydroclean.
